DIABLO SEA BEARS – NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER
The meeting was called to order by President, Tom P. about 7:30 pm. Those attending were: Tom & Doris, Walt, Kathy, Ron & Michelle, Richard, Dan, Jeri & Barbara, Craig, Linda & Caitlin, Bob S., Kevin & Margie.
Webmaster Kevin read two letters sent to the club from the NCOF. One regarding a fundraiser on February 2nd and the other regarding an artificial reef they are proposing for the Monterey Bay. More information is available at (Scubadiver.com).
Richard mentioned that some members have shown some interest in possibly doing some outings during the winter months in Monterey and Bodega Bay. We should keep in touch and possibly schedule something for after the first of the year.
Voting for the Board of Directors will be at the December 5th. Those members running are:

Treasurer – Walt P., Secretary/Editor – Margie P.
Webmaster – Kevin P.,
Safety – Bob S. or Craig B.
If you are interested in holding one of these offices please come to the meeting and let the members know. Otherwise please come to the meeting to cast your vote.
We need members to signup to be a divemaster for the 2008 Calendar. Please come to the December meeting and signup.
Please let Kevin or Margie know if you are coming to the Christmas Party, December 8th and let us know what you’ll be bringing.
Some members have shown some interest in going to Albion the Friday following Thanksgiving. Please contact Richard or Tom C. if you may be interested.
I mentioned that I’d like to start sending the Newsletter via email each month. Some members prefer to continue receiving in the mail. Please let me know what method you’d prefer.
