DIABLO SEA BEARS – MARCH NEWSLETTER
The meeting was called to order at 7:35pm by President Dan W. Those also present were Tom & Doris, Walt, Kathy, Ron & Michele, Tom & Audrey, Bob T., Kevin & Margie.
Vice President: Kathy read the minutes from the February meeting and gave her well wishes to everyone and told us all to get ready for the new dive season.
Membership: Doris said that everyone is current with dues and that the dues for the next year are due by June 30th.
Webmaster: Kevin reported that there is a link to the Anchor Shack was added to the website. He also reported that he had a note regarding the Earth Day Ocean Cleanup in Monterey if anyone was interested in reading the article.
Dan mentioned that Adam and Bernie are signed up for the Lobster Dive on the boat “Vision” out of Santa Barbara. The cost is $495.00. If anyone else is interested they should contact Anchor Shack
Bob T. mentioned he has a prospective new member and Tom P. also had some prospective new members which they both were going to contact.
We will continue the dive calendar for dates after the Labor Day weekend at our next meeting April 2nd.
Bob T. mentioned that Ben had lost his mother recently. Our condolences to Ben and his family.
Remember our next meeting April 2nd, the Wednesday right before our first campout weekend.
