Diablo Sea Bears – June 2007 Newsletter
Our meeting was called to order about 7:30 pm, by president, Tom P. Those also present were: Ron & Michelle, Roger, Richard with guest, Reinhardt V. D., Craig & Linda, Tozzi, Kevin and Margie.
Unfortunately, many of our officers were not present for the meeting. Safety Officer, Roger reminded all of us that just because summer is coming it does not mean you should not be safe.
Webmaster Kevin mentioned that the website had been updated and that members should send any photos they may have to him. He also mentioned that he was missing some dive master reports. Richard reported that no one went to Albion for the May 11th, 12th outing. Attached please find copies of the April 27th, 28th, Memorial Day Weekend, and June 8th and 9th reports.
A very important reminder to all members who have not paid their dues yet:
Money is due to Doris P. no later than June 30th, 2007. If not paid, you can not take advantage of the free camp night weekend, August 10th, 11th and September 14th, 15th, or any end of the year awards.
A reminder to all, that if you plan on joining the group at Albion for any weekend that you make sure your reservations are made in advance.
Tom P. told us that Adam M. was given his award for the Largest Poled fish at the Memorial Day Campout.
Under new business we were told that the new manager of Albion Campground, Wayne, has updated their website and we have a link to it through our website (DiabloSeabearsDiveclub.org)
Tom P. also told us that Tom C. had given him the name of two new prospective members.
A reminder that the July meeting will be at Albion Campground.
