February 2008 Newsletter
The meeting was called to order by President Dan W at 7:30pm. Those also present were Jerri, Bob and Judy, Richard, Bob T., Ron and Michele, Kevin and Margie.
Webmaster Kevin reported that 2006 and 2007 notes and pictures were archived. He also said that MLPA and sanctuary links were available on the website.
Dan reported that the Anchor Shack was having a Channel Islands dive.
Kevin reported that West Coast Reefers Dive Club was also sponsoring a Channel Island’s Dive on October 16th to 18th.
Richard told everyone that for Abalone diving in kayaks and non-motorized boats, you don’t have to tag and use punch card until you come to shore.
It was also mentioned that Coastside Fishing Club would be having representatives at Fish & Game meetings.
Bob S suggested that we have more tank dives.
Ron said that there is still no King Salmon season scheduled since the season last year was so bad.
A reminder to all members to call Albion and make your reservations and send in your deposits.
