The meeting was called to order by President, Tom P. at about 7:30 pm. Those attending the meeting were: Tom & Doris, Walt, Kathy, Dan & Jerri, Roger & Nancy, Judy, Richard, Craig & Linda and Margie.
Vice-President, Kathy A., read minutes from the March meeting, wished good luck for our opening camp weekend and told everyone that a Secretary is still needed.
A reminder that the free camp weekends are the August 10th and 11th, and September 14th and 15th.
Safety officer Roger told everyone that you should not be diving if you suffer from a heart condition.
There was no old business and the new business was that Bob S. and Richard N. were changing the weekends they would be Dive masters. Richard will now be doing the May 11th, 12th and Bob will be doing the June 22nd, 23rd. Please note these changes on your schedule. We still need dive masters for some weekends.
Judy S. told everyone that she and Bob had been up to Albion to drop off their trailer and met the new manager. She felt that he seemed structured and organized.
Awards given out at the meeting were as follow: Adam M. – Largest poled fish, Roger H. – Largest Abalone, Kevin P. – Sea Bear of the Year, and JB – Golden Ab Award.
The meeting promptly ended at 8:00 pm.
